Your Questions, Answered

  • All sales are final. With pre-owned and loved vintage, there will always be signs of wear over time. These imperfections and unique qualities are what make our items one-of-a-kind. We take great care to pre-launder (hand wash, steam, and occasionally dry-clean) upon sourcing so items are considered “ready to wear.” Before listing an item for sale, we do our best to examine the garment for signs of wear and make sure these marks are shown in photos and/or mentioned in the description.

Please make sure that you reference the measurements and compare against items you already own and like the fit for your body. If you have any questions about sizing, please reach out before you make your purchase and we’ll do our best to provide further insight on fit.

If for some reason you find an issue with a garment that was not mentioned, or feel that we have misrepresented the item in any way, please reach out within 5 business days so that we can address your concerns.

  • We use the following system when measuring our garments. All measurements are taken laying flat.

    • Armpit to armpit - Wrap the measuring tape around your body just above your bust, then cut that number in half.

    • Shoulder seam to the bottom of garment - Lay the measuring tape at the top of your shoulder and measure down to where you prefer your shirt length to end.

    • Waist - Wrap the measuring tape around your natural waist, then cut that number in half. For high-rise pants, tape should fall above your belly button. For mid-to-low-rise pants tape should fall below your belly button.

    • Hips - Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips. For pants, this usually falls level to where the garment’s crotch seams are.

    • Rise - Measure from the crotch seam all the way to the top of the waistline.

    • Inseam - Measure from the crotch seam all the way to the bottom of the hemline.

For additional questions about measurements or fit, feel free to reach out and we can provide more insight where possible.

  • We first recommend to refer to the garment’s care instructions on the original tag, if applicable. If there is no tag with care instructions or it is no longer legible, we recommend the following steps based on fabric.

For most items, hand washing in cold water with a mild detergent, rinsing well and laying flat to dry will work. For some natural fibers like cotton or linen, machine washing with cold water on a delicate cycle and tumble drying on low heat may be okay. Laying items flat to dry always helps maintain shape and structure for a garment.

For fabrics like satin, silk, rayon, leathers and wool, we always recommend professional dry cleaning and occasional steam cleaning or spot cleaning with a damp cloth (no detergent) between professional cleanings. If you are unsure, we are happy to chat about what will work best for your items, just reach out.
